Reality Check 27 – Decisions

Veil emotions”, says the first.
“Share them”, says the other.

Modify your problems”, first proclaims.
“Solve them slowly”, advises the other.

“Some things can’t be done”, says one.
“How can you know till you try?” says other.

“I’m right. I know it”, the first declares.
“Try it, and you’ll prove I’m right”, whispers other.

The usual decision making process has begun again.
It ends up with the latter winning as always.
I’m always obedient to my heart; the brain never stands a chance.
Why bother? My heart has never let me down as yet.
If it does, HELL! Nobody’s perfect!

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  2. The heart bothers the pain of ignominy more than the brain yet it remains the more optimistic.johnhttp://imeandnotsomuchofmyself.blogspot.com/
