Night so dark was encapsulating her in its arms. She was scared. She was without hope, stranded and alone in her journey. She wasn’t expecting a bed of roses in my path but the thorns were becoming unbearable with every passing day.
Estranged from her family and loved ones, she had started on a journey of life without any aim. Not a single soul offered her love and solace in these stormy nights.
“Where am I going? Why am I alone?” the questions haunted her forever. She found no answers. She prayed every single night to the almighty above to show her some way and to give her some hope to carry on. Somehow, even god had turned away from her.
“Destiny’s Child”, they used to call her. But was her destiny only filled with misery and pain. She wondered was happiness still living in any form on this land.
Again tonight, her hands folded and she bowed to the one above. Tears were streaming down her face and begging for an aim to achieve in her life. Slowly and slowly, her tears lulled her to sleep.
“Wake up my child! Wake up!” she was startled by the angelic voice. On opening her eyes, she found no one around. She looked around hoping to find the source, but was disappointed. Then she saw the most beautiful panoramic view in front of her.
Night was ending and a new day was about to begin. The rays of the sun were scattering away the darkness. Her heart embraced the warmth of the sun. It gave her hope, that her night will end and a new dawn will surface in her life. A new dawn, a new hope, a new life. Her prayer had been answered.
