Reality Check 14

Anyone who doesn’t realize your value is not your friend. If you drift apart, they lost a good friend in you. It’s their loss, not yours.

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. These were comforing words Leo as 3 yrs ago my best friend whom I dropped everything for when her husband passed away and flew to N. Ireland to be with her , suddenly decided she wanted to not be friends anymore. Whether it was delayed grief but for 3 yrs I have wondered what I did wrong.Yvonne.
