Hi friends, this post marks my 350th post in this blog. On this milestone, my friend Angel, who had to postpone her guest post as she couldn’t make the 300th celebrations, writes a few words for me. Thanks in advance Angel! I have kept it ready in drafts since so long waiting for this 350th! 🙂
Hmmm, Leo, thank you for presenting me with this opportunity..
Few things in life are better left unsaid but there are a few things that deserve to be spoken about.. Leo’s poetry is one such thing..
First of all speaking about the person I know behind the world of blogging.. Leo outside the blogging world is a wonderful person and kind hearted and some what silent, a good friend I can say.. my best friend’s best friend.. always deeply thinking.. possibly about poetry..hmm there’ve been times when we go out for lunch and by the time we get back Leo would’ve published a wonderful poem on the blackboard for us.. extremely talented..
Leo introduced me to blogging and then told me to publish a few posts.. hmm b4 that i had visited his blog a few times needless to say.. Leo calls himself amateur poet is undoubtedly a professional…:) his words “cast ur words upon my work and not upon me..” shows his simplicity 🙂 ..
Now as he says let me speak about his poetry– first thing tat comes to my mind is.. my mind commanding English, beautiful poetry. it is said “actions speak louder than words” would definitely be changed to ” words can speak louder than action” once we read Leo’s poetry.. for instance “That misty morning” by Leo, where in we don’t have to actually experience the actual situation. Just reading Leo s poetry brings out the feel of it 🙂
