Misunderstanding

Silence shut out truth
Feared it would take us apart
If it became known
Yet it was silence that did
Cause so much havoc
Few words could have avoided
Misunderstanding

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Ur usage of less words always makes me envy u….and what is more envious is the fact that ur usage of these less words is so strong and powerfull….sigh! How do I even begin to explain! 🙂

  2. I love silence, and wish to be silent….but most of the places i am misunderstood so I started talking…even then I am misunderstood….In a real dilemma, sometimes! Not so much dilemma as to say, Your poem is nice, Vinay :))wishes, devika
