Predictable

Presumption of
Repeating past
Ends many
Dreams unfulfilled
If every moment
Can repeat again
Then life is just lies
Any dreams die
Because they do
Languish in past
Ending the future

For AO:Predictable

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. What action in the past that is being repeated, and why is it predictable? If something is predictable, can it be a lie?Just a few questions Leo, because I know you take your writing very seriously. As an acrostic this one didn't hit the mark, but it a nice poem.On has to be careful of bumpy roads when it comes to poetry, period. Especially acrostic, it must flow.I work hard at mines and I don't always hit the mark — but I never give up trying.
