Soulfulness

See those souls
Only doing work
Understand their need
Little hands theirs
Full of grime
Used by others
Living on their time
Not much morsels
Each day they eat
Stand for their rights
Speak for them today

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Shrav: thanks very much bro! 🙂 yeah, child labor is somethin where the work is done by children, but others get more benefits than them! sad but true..

  2. This touched my heart Leo, and brought tears to these old tired eyes. Life is so hard, and when looking at the big picture, if the few was not so greedy we could take care of our children around the world … they should have to starve when we throw out millions of pounds of food a day here in the United States. And the sad thing about all this is, there are starving folks right here in these good old United States!

  3. Amias:doesn't matter where they are right? we don't need to regionise when its a world issue… the world needs to stand as one! indeed it'd be a worthy cause to support!
