Self Reflection

If you don’t know your own reflection
You’ve been looking in the wrong mirror

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Depends on the mirror, as some of the images I see I have already moved past them. Others are so dark and evil, I have never been them — however, this is indeed thought provoking.I can see that you are on a path to self-realization, and your poetry, of late, truly reflects that.

  2. Amias, perhaps a true friend's eyes can be the best mirror…the image in them is a true reflection of u.self realization? πŸ™‚ thanks!i donno about that, i'm just writing a lot and i'm glad it is coming out well. πŸ™‚

  3. Pramoda, not necessarily. a mirror is just some place u can see yourself! i've seen in umpteen times but i still think that the reflection is not who i am! :)if u can't see your reflection in a mirror, the mirror is not at fault. u r just using a wrong one. i use my friend's eyes as my mirror, she knows me best, so it is a good reflection to see! πŸ™‚
