101 days ago, was born a star. On her very first day in this blogging universe, she added me as a friend. I never saw who she was till a few weeks later. Destiny had different ideas for us. We became virtual siblings. For those of you who are wondering why I am calling her my virtual sibling, I don’t think I can explain myself. Perhaps on some level, our friendship has grown so much that I believe I know her well, and maybe she feels the same about me. It’s a friendship I value a lot, and treasure every moment. She has become the first person I search for in my chat list when I come online.
She and I have had similar experiences, treaded similar roads in life. A mirror image of my heart would be hers. Someone with talent so much and a passion so fierce for poetry, words flow from her heart like a river… Someone who writes what she feels, writes from the heart and opines honestly, I feel there are but few in this world like her. In every sense of the word, she is versatile. She can write just as well in Hindi as she can in English. She has maybe more than a hundred posts already if you combine all her blogs. Every word she writes is brilliant, very much worth the read.
A very questioning person, I have had answers to her questions so far, but frankly speaking she answers them better by herself! Nearly a hundred people follow her quest to a place unknown, and help her find that place. I also have the honor of sharing a poetry blog with her, where we write together the poems. Time to Rhyme is and will remain our joint thoughts always! Such a friendly person, who loves to make you smile, her words are thoughtful and will cheer you up whenever you feel down. A linguist too, for she can speak quite a number of languages…
She is one, who leaves an impression in your life with just one touch. I cannot see her sad, because that face is meant to smile always. A fiercer friend than her, I don’t think is possible. I have seen her defend her friends when she feels they are being wronged. She is humble and just, always willing to accept her mistake and apologize. She sometimes jumps to the wrong conclusions too. A sister I am yet to meet, maybe that might change soon. I’ve told before in a tag that it is something I am waiting impatiently for.
An Unknown Quest, The Mush Factor, The Writers Lounge, Mera Astitva, The Gateway of India and Time to Rhyme… maybe more to follow as well, I am glad to have been part of the 100 days so far in this star’s blogging journey. I wish her many, many days more in this journey and I am sure I am going to be part of it till the end.
To Kajal, my virtual sibling.
Happy 100 days of blogging!
Love ya Calliope!
