In what way was she a burden?
Never uttered a word did she
Never did you give her a chance
Only natural it was she did love you
Child unborn leaves a wrath
Even almighty Lord ubiquitous
Never shall forgive thee for this
Thy reasons maybe valid to some

In this world, so cruel and uncompromising
Needing joy to hold and cherish
Needing a little laugh, a smile to kindle
One such joy you have vanquished
Care you may not have given her
Even then she was your little angel
Nourish her you could not have done perhaps
To me she will be, forever innocent

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.
