Nature’s Heartfelt Longings

the sky above sees it all
all the evil and the good
it sees it all
and bears it all
as only nature could

the calm breeze
that caresses me
is it not nature’s sigh of misery?
it sees it all
and bears it all
longing for it to be free

the rain drops
that touch my feet
is it not nature’s tears of sorrow?
it sees it all
and bears it all
longing for a better tomorrow

the echoing thunder
that sounds in the air
is it not nature’s cry of pain?
it sees it all
and bears it all
hoping its tears are not in vain

the lightning flash
that lights the sky
is it not nature’s glare of anger?
it sees it all
and bears it all
knowing that soon shall come danger

the darkened clouds hold its happiness
waiting to share it’s contents dear
when it has seen and cant bear no more
it rains down the joys for us to store
and a message for us to hear

——————————————-
multiply the joys and not the sorrow
it is upto you for a better tomorrow
let go of the evil you hold inside
and let within you good reside
look at me like i am your friend
treat me well and your joys shall not end

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.
